  • A Beginner’s Guide to Public Engagement (full or half day options available, maximum 60 people)
    This active and comprehensive course aims to equip students and academics with a solid toolkit for conducting outreach, including all aspects of finding material, finding audiences and finding a voice.

  • Developing Engaging Activities (full or half day options available)
    A fun hands-on group session covering choosing a topic, exploring learning styles, how to pitch to different audiences and a practical activity development session with materials.

  • How to Talk to Strangers (3 hour course, maximum 30 people)
    Explore new ways to build confidence in communication in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere. Get top tips from a former tour guide and street performer as well as practising different engagement techniques as you develop your own communication style.
