Since its inception in 2015, Hexagon Productions has created and delivered over 50 public events.

A selection of some of our work:

  • Conception and management of ten filmed discussions for the online Edinburgh Science Festival 2021, bringing together global experts including Tim Spector, Dale Fisher, Tom Solomon, Linda Bauld and Cassandra Mercury

  • Created numerous sold-out events for the 2022 Edinburgh Science Festival on topics including the climate crisis, urban planning, space medicine, satellite technology, ocean health and microbiology

  • Production and hosting of the inaugural podcast series exploring soil, food and climate for Scotland’s Rural College

  • Writing and delivery of two popular family and school science shows for the National Museum of Flight and the National Museum of Scotland

  • The inception, in partnership with the Institute of Physics, of a major new science festival that reached an audience of over 4,000 people in its second year across three venues

  • Designed experiences for the National Museum of Scotland, National Galleries Scotland, Diageo, Developing the Young Workforce and Glasgow Science Festival amongst others

Alongside these, we’ve also made bespoke science quiz nights, programmed exhibition launches, partnered with industry to design corporate entertainment, provided storytelling and poetry for galleries and museums, run cocktail chemistry nights and created a sell-out series of science cabarets with Eureka Edinburgh. We also created the Jukebox Bingo, but that’s another story…

If you or your organisation could use a little help with creative events production, or have an event you’d like us to make something for, we’re all ears.
